Great chair5
We recieved this chair two weeks ago and our 3 month old son loves it. He will not take naps in his crib, so we had to get him something to sleep in (other than in my arms). He LOVES sleeping in his chair (as well as just sitting in it watching his big brother). The music is very soothing...lullabies with an Asian twist. Plus some nature sounds that include hearbeat sounds. Plus, it has a volume control. Also, the vibration option for the chair is a lot smoother than other chairs we have had. I don't mind turning it on with this chair...no way with our old Graco bouncy seat. The chair is easy to fold up and carry (very lightweight), so you can carry the chair in one hand and the baby in your other arm. Note: this is not a bouncy seat.
Looks great - but not that entertaining on its own3
The seat looks great in the living room - finally something that's not super babyish! It doesn't do much other than vibrate, so it's Ok as long as my son is being stimulated/entertained by something else (e.g., watching Baby Einstein, interacting with Mom/Dad). My son is content longer in a cheap little bouncy seat because his own actions bounce the seat & make the multiple dangling toys wave around.
Fisher-Price Zen Collection Infant Seat5
Great seat! My 5 week old has loved this infant seat since we brought her home from the hospital. The vibrating feature is great to calm her down and she also loves the music. Plus, it looks great in our home. I strongly recommend this seat!
